Pétala se va a Bolonia

Mañana me marcho a Bolonia, a la Feria del libro infantil. Estaré en el stand de la APIC (Hall 29, D22) del martes al jueves. Si vas a la feria, pásate a decir hola.

Pétala, como puedes ver por ti mismo, también se apunta. Ella estará en el stand de OQO (Hall 29, B29).

Comienza la Petalamanía
El libro estará en las librerías españolas a principios de abril.

El primero en sumarse a la petalamanía ha sido el cantante brasileño Djavan, que después de leer el libro, no se ha podido resistir y le ha escrito una canción de amor. La puedes ver aquí.

PETALA GOES TO BOLOGNA
Tomorrow I´m going to Bolonia, to the Children´s Book Fair. I´ll be at the APIC stand (Professional Association of Catalonian Illustrators, Hall 29, D22) from Monday to Thursday. If you visit the Fair, I´d love you pass by and say hello.
Petala, as you can see by yourself, will also go there. She´ll be at the OQO Stand (Hall 29, B29).

Petalamanía begins
The book will be available from the beginning of April at Spanish bookstores.

The first petalomaniac has been the Brazilian singer Djavan, who after reading the book, couldn´t help himself from writing a love song for her. You can watcht the video here.

Este mes han publicado unas ilustraciones mías en el número 15 de la revista virtual portuguesa Cru-a, portada incluida. El tema era el pecado. Me he inspirado en el Jardín de las delicias del Bosco y en ilustraciones medievales. Para variar, lo he hecho todo a mano. He disfrutado mucho el proceso.

This month the virtual Portuguese magazine Cru-a has published some illustrations of mine inside and on the cover. (www.cru-a.com). I´ve been inspired by Tha garden of delights by Bosch as well as medieval illustrations. I´ve made everything by hand and I´ve enjoyed myself very much.

Esta es la portada de Pétala, mi primer álbum ilustrado.

Surgió como trabajo de clase de Eina del año pasado, en el taller de Mariona Cabassa, como una historia sin palabras titulada "Pétala y la casa de la lluvia". Finalmente Pep Bruno escribió el texto. Lo publicará OQO a finales de marzo.

This is the cover of Petala, my first book ever to be published.

It started as a project at Eina, where I was doind the degree in Illustration last year, in Mariona Cabassa´s class. In the beginning it was a wordless story called "Petala and the house of rain". Finally, Pep Bruno wrote the story. It will be published at the end of March by the Spanish Publishing house OQO.
